THE GIFT
A family is on the verge of breaking apart. Edie has packed her bags and is about to leave her husband Emilio and their seven-year-old son Levin. Emilio spends the afternoon with his son and gives him something he has wanted for a long time. When Levin barely reacts, his disappointed father takes the gift away again. As his mother finally leaves without saying goodbye, the boy finds his own way back to his gift — and into a world entirely his own.

FINIMONDO
Sunday afternoon in a bleak East Berlin suburb. Two Italian construction workers, Gino and Cosimo, sit in a desolate corner bar with nothing to do. Gino would rather head to the Ku’damm to meet women, while Cosimo dreams of a proper, thick German sausage. So they first set out in search of a sausage — and then head out into the Berlin suburbs.
